Together we will resolve problems, prevent crime, and enhance public safety. Sergeant James Levand

15 years’ experience in Law Enforcement, certifications include; Field Training Officer, Truck Enforcement Officer,

Accident Investigator, Taser Instructor, Oleoresin Capsicum Instructor, A.L.I.C.E Instructor, K9 Handler and Drug Recognition Expert. Wealth of experience in developing and implementing Community Service Programs. Best part of the job is getting to interact with the community alongside the best partner ever, Koda! My off time I enjoy traveling and the outdoors, including camping. Of course with my amazing partner Koda!

Michael Zeigler

My favorite part of police work is connecting with the community and every day is an adventure.  I am an avid outdoorsman

enjoying backpacking and backcountry skiing.  My favorite sports team is the Blackhawks, and my favorite color is green.

Tom Blincoe

Tom Blincoe began his career with the Campton Hills Police Department on November 10, 2007 and was hired

full-time in March 2017. Tom previously served with the Kane County Sheriff’s Department. Tom has a bachelor’s degree in history from Lora’s College. Sergeant Blincoe’s favorite drink is diet Mt. Dew.

Doug Kucik

Doug was hired as a part-time officer in 2017. Doug became full time for Campton Hills in January of 2020. Doug previously

worked for the Addison Police Department as a full- time officer. Doug is a certified Field Training Officer, Evidence Technician and formerly served on the NIPAS Mobile Field Force. Doug earned a bachelor’s degree from Elmhurst College. Doug enjoys boating on his days off.   

K9 Koda

K-9 Koda

Koda is a 3-year-old German Shepherd from Czechoslovakia and the department’s first K9 officer. Koda has

assisted with narcotic finds, missing persons, criminal tracks and apprehensions, article searches, crowd control, and building searches for our agency and other departments requesting assistance. Koda has made many appearances and done countless demonstrations, including National Night Out, September Fest, Elburn Days, Boy Scouts, and our local schools. While working Koda enjoys watching over his human partner and catching the bad guys! Off duty Koda loves playing with his tug toy and getting belly rubs.

Eric Roskens

Officer Roskens comes to the Campton Hills Police Department with 13 years of police officer experience, having served 

Officer Roskens comes to the Campton Hills Police Department with 13 years of police officer experience, having served the Village of Schaumburg. Officer Roskens is certified in CIT and Field Training Officer. In his spare time, he enjoys working out and long rides on his motorcycle.

Part-Time Officers

CODE ENFORCEMENT OFFICER

Daniel Hatt

Dan Hatt was hired as a part-time officer on 10/07/2013. Dan is retired the the Streamwood Police Department

after serving for 20 years. Dan teaches Too Good for Drugs, Citizen Police Academy and Senior Citizen Police Academy. Dan also serves as the department’s Code Enforcement Officer and the Deputy Liquor Commissioner. Dan’s favorite things are horseback riding and diving.

Arturo Gracia

Arturo was hired as a part-time officer in September 2014. Arturo has over 16 years full-time law enforcement experience
with the East Dundee and Sleepy Hollow police departments. Arturo brings many qualifications and certifications with him to Campton Hills, including: FTO, Range Officer, Rifle and TASER instructor, as well as serving on the ILEAS Mobile Field Force. Arturo’s favorite color is blue.

Eric Jannusch

Eric was hired as a part-time officer in 2017. Eric Previously work as a full-time officer in St. Charles, IL for four years

before returning to aviation full-time. Eric is a certified pilot and flight instructor and earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Dubuque. Officer Jannusch enjoys flying, golf, and winter sports.

Jerry Munoz

Jerry was hired as a part-time officer June of 2018. Jerry is a Full-time officer with the College of DuPage where he 

was trained in many areas of police work. Jerry enjoys doing long bicycle rides/marathons that support fallen/injured members of the Law Enforcement Community.

Jean Harvey

I have thirty years of experience in Law enforcement. I have worked in most areas of police work including patrol

investigations, community education, administration, forensics, training manager and was the first female sergeant at my previous department.  My favorite part of being in law enforcement is helping people in need and being a part of programs that link the police and citizens in positives ways.  Favorite food hands down is pizza.

Jason Friedrich

Jason was hired on September 1, 2020. Jason come to us with over 12 years of Law Enforcement experience. Jason is currently

employed as a Full-time Police Officer by the Montgomery Police Department. Jason had been previously hired as a Part-time Police Officer here in Campton Hills from 2014-2015 until he left to become a Full-time Police Officer in Carlsbad California. Jason has also served as a Law Enforcement Officer for the Kane County Sheriff’s Department and served in the United States Marine Corps. Jason involved traveling with his family.

Ryan Quinn

Officer Ryan Quinn started part-time with the Campton Hills Police Department in June 2021. Officer Quinn

comes to Campton Hills with years of past experience! Officer Quinn enjoys traveling.

George Steiner

Officer Steiner comes to the Campton Hills Police Department with 14 years of police officer experience, serving the 

communities of Gilberts and East Dundee. Officer Steiner also has 28 years of fire service experience as a Fire Lieutenant and paramedic. Officer Steiner teaches Active Shooter Response and Tactical EMS classes. In his free time, he enjoys working out, watching sports, traveling, and participating in various sports.
