Annexation and TIF District - LaFox of Campton Hills

Annexation is the process by which a city or town formally expands its boundaries to include adjacent land or territory. This action can bring new opportunities for growth, improved services, and stronger community connections. Whether initiated by property owners, developers, or the municipality itself, annexation is guided by legal procedures and local planning goals.

For residents and landowners, annexation can mean access to municipal utilities, public safety services, and zoning that supports future development. For Village/Cities, it’s a strategic tool to manage growth, enhance infrastructure, and ensure cohesive community planning.
