The Campton Hills Police Department would like to remind residents that there are currently no sealcoating companies registered with the Village, including solicitor permits.
If someone comes to your residence offering driveway sealcoating services, please do not engage and call 911 immediately. Reputable sealcoating companies do not go door to door seeking business.
*Please keep an eye out for our senior residents, who are especially vulnerable to these types of scams. In many cases, scammers will lure homeowners outside to discuss driveway work while another person enters the residence and steals valuables. Unfortunately, victims often do not realize items are missing until long after the sealcoat scammers have left the area.*
We encourage everyone to stay alert, look out for neighbors, and report suspicious activity right away.
Your awareness can help protect our community!
