Officer Dominic Dimaggio was sworn in as a full-time police officer by Village President Michael Tyrrell at the village board meeting in April. Starting with the village as a part-time officer in August 2021, Dimaggio has done an exemplary job. “Considering the competitive hiring environment in law enforcement, the village is very pleased to add Officer Dimaggio as part of the team.” Said Village Administrator, Denise Burchard.
A host of fellow police officers joined the village board at the swearing-in of Commander Michael Zeigler on May 3rd. The position of commander was created due to the retirement of long-serving Deputy Chief, Randy Johnson. Commander Zeigler has worked for the village since September of 2020. He came to Campton Hills after serving as a Commander for the Village of Streamwood Police Department. Chief Steven Millar said, “The Village of Campton Hills is very pleased to have Commander Zeigler join our upper ranks. His extensive experience and background in all aspects of policing will greatly benefit the community and the department.”
