Requests for Public Records may be made by submitting a FOIA (Freedom of Information Act) Request.

FEE SCHEDULE
- Copy of Audio or Video Material – Cost of Media
- Paper Copy (51 Pages or More) – $0.15 per page
- CRASH Reports – Must be obtained through Lexis Nexis. Please see the Police Department page here for more information.
- There is no charge for documents (excluding Crash/Accident Reports) less than 50 pages in black and white. If the records exceed 50 pages, the requester will be informed of any duplication cost before copied. Color copies and odd-sized documents will be charged accordingly.
Following state law under GENERAL PROVISIONS (5 ILCS 140/) Freedom of Information Act, (5 ILCS 140/3) (from Ch. 116, par. 203) the Village will respond to requests for public records within 5 business days after its receipt of the request.
