2nd Annual Christmas Parade

Santa Claus is coming to town and bringing some friends!

The Campton Hills Police Department is hosting the 2nd annual Christmas parade on Saturday December 18th beginning at 11am. Santa Claus is making the long journey from the North Pole and bringing some friends. Come out and see Santa, Grinch, Frosty, and the Elves. The North Pole crew will be joined by first responders from the Campton Hills Police Department, Elburn & Countryside Fire, Fox River & Countryside Fire, and Pingree Grove & Countryside Fire. Our friends from Accurate Towing will also be taking part in the festivities. K9 Koda’s patrol car has the honor of pulling Santa’s sleigh during the parade route.

This community event is free and for ALL residents in the Village. We encourage ALL residents to find a spot along the parade route. The Village of Campton Hills covers 17 square miles and over 100 miles of roadway. Unfortunately, it is impossible for the parade to visit every street in the Village due to safety concerns and time restrictions. Santa Claus and his crew have been kind enough to make a special trip for residents of Campton Hills, but they only have a limited amount of time. The route has been chosen in the most populated area of the Village. The parade route covers 4 miles and offers plenty of space for everyone in the Village to come out and take part in the fun.

During the parade candy and toys will be tossed to everyone along the route. Please make sure children remain on sidewalks and driveways and do not run into the street as the parade passes by. The Campton Hills Police Department will also be collecting nonperishable food items for a local food pantry. Please make sure food items are not expired and placed into bags. Volunteers will collect the donated food items along the parade route. Please see attached map for parade route.

The Campton Hills Police Department wishes all residents a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!
